Be My Eyes

A self portrait painted without glasses... Acrylic on wood. If you take away the lack of technique, this is pretty much how I see the photo on the left from a distance of 50cm. I modified the tree on the right just to fill the sky and gave myself vague nose and lips. Facial features was impossible to paint, not because I saw nothing but I saw many overlapping copies of them, didn't know what shape to make.

First painting in the series with the same title. More will come if I don't lose the inspiration.
